The most effective medicine is the natural healing power that lies within each of us.

Quote: Hippocrates

Anamnesis - a time of listening

In our media-driven age, intensive, attentive conversation has become almost a precious commodity. Detailed narrative and careful listening are the foundation of my anamnesis with you. During this anamnesis (taking your medical history), not only current complaints are considered, but also chronic ones and the interplay of body, mind, and soul.

To prepare, I will send you the medical history form in advance. This will serve as a guide for you to discuss together.

I will then develop an individual treatment plan for you and make suggestions as to which laboratory diagnostics and complementary treatment approaches, such as acupuncture, might be useful.

The medical history not only serves to develop a treatment plan on a physical, symptomatic level. Rather, it also serves as coaching on a psychological level through the personal approach, revealing the patient's own, currently relevant life issues.

Classical homeopathy

Homeopathic treatment: In a detailed anamnesis (medical history), I attempt to record you individually in all areas of your life, including all symptoms and previous illnesses. Based on the totality of your symptoms, I then select a homeopathic remedy whose drug picture best matches your symptoms. Homeopathy does not suppress symptoms, but rather stimulates the body's self-healing powers.
Ear acupuncture

according to traditional Chinese medicine

Within the ear are over 100 ear reflex points that are connected to organs, body parts, or specific bodily functions via a neural reflex. Applications: acute pain syndromes such as lumbago, sciatic nerve irritation, cervical spine syndromes, allergy treatment, acute colds, supportive treatment for weight loss, smoking cessation, etc.

Dorn-Breuss treatment
Dorn spinal and joint therapy is a manual therapy method that allows vertebrae and joints to be correctly repositioned in a very gentle and completely safe way. The Breuss massage is a relaxation and energy-balancing massage that can achieve optimal treatment success. The Breuss massage is a manual back massage that can release physical and mental blockages. It initiates the regeneration of undernourished intervertebral discs and is used individually before or after a Dorn treatment. To loosen the muscles, St. John's wort oil is used, and cupping or localized heat is applied as needed. Main areas of application for Dorn/Breuss spinal therapy: back pain, incorrect strain, stress, migraines, headaches, etc.
Foot reflexology massage
with cupping and sound wave treatment. Foot reflexology is a form of therapy that has evolved over many years from folk wisdom into a precisely developed special massage. In the 1950s, Hanne Marquardt further developed this method into a gentle and effective special therapy. Applications: Back pain, other musculoskeletal complaints, headaches, for detoxification and deacidification, acute colds, for well-being and relaxation.

Cupping &

Fascia massage

activation and relaxation of the muscles

The practice of cupping has been known in Chinese medicine for thousands of years: cupping glasses create negative pressure on the skin, and the resulting increased blood flow increases metabolic activity. The tissue, muscles, ligaments, and tendons are loosened and their blood supply is improved. During cupping treatment, particular emphasis is placed on the fascia, which is beneficially activated through the application of natural, essential oils. Harmful, pathogenic substances are supported in their elimination, which benefits the metabolism and lymph flow, and can beneficially harmonize the body's energy flow. It is particularly recommended for migraines, connective tissue problems, back pain, tension in the cervical spine and shoulders, disc problems, and the effects of physical and emotional stress.

Spiral stabilization of the spine
For strengthening the core muscles and relieving pressure on the joints. Who among us hasn't experienced sudden or persistent, excruciating pain in the back, shoulder, neck, or joints? Activating the spiral muscle chains influences the musculoskeletal system, as well as overall motor function, the function of internal organs, and mental balance. Exercises are performed using a special elastic rope. The back SM system is suitable for anyone suffering from back, joint, and muscle pain and is especially recommended for patients with disc damage, scoliosis, hallux valgus, etc. In my practice, I instruct patients in the exercises.

Women & Health

Well-being and hormonal balance. Being a woman means living with natural hormonal fluctuations throughout your life – month after month, from puberty to old age. When the hormonal balance, nervous system, and psyche are in balance, the female body is able to balance hormonal shifts. Signals and changes are easier to understand the more familiar a woman is with her body and its processes. The goal is to regain balance with herself and her hormonal cycles, and to feel good in her own body. Possible symptoms can include: PMS, painful and/or heavy/light periods, menopausal symptoms, exhaustion, lack of energy, migraines and headaches, iron deficiency, digestive problems, vaginal infections, bladder infections, and the desire to have children.

Naturopathic approaches can include:

  • Acupuncture
  • homeopathy
  • Foot reflexology
  • Dorn-Breuss treatment
  • Laboratory diagnostics

Feeling good as a woman:

Cellulite and weak connective tissue

  • Diagnostics and mineral balance
  • Individual development of a treatment plan with regard to the acid-base balance

Hair loss and skin problems:

  • Differentiated diagnostics through clarification of various laboratory parameters (zinc, magnesium, selenium and examination of pollutant exposure/hair mineral analysis)
  • Support of the excretory and elimination organs to relieve the skin
  • Dietary change based on an intolerance test in the laboratory
  • Omega 3 test/ fatty acid test

Immune system and intestinal health

Immune balance for sustainable health

The intestinal flora, also known as the microbiome, is the individual composition of microbes (microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, or fungi) in the gastrointestinal tract. Without them, we would not be able to survive. We need a strong microbiome with the "right," healthy microbes and a healthy intestinal mucosa. Only then can we effectively and efficiently absorb nutrients and vital substances from our food, excrete toxins, and benefit from the positive effects of a healthy gut on our immune system.

However, if we have a dominance of the "wrong" microbes, a putrefactive and fermentative flora develops. The protective function and far-reaching positive effects of a healthy flora increasingly decline or even disappear, our body's defenses are weakened, and our susceptibility to infections and acute and chronic inflammation increases.

I notice the following symptoms more frequently: - Digestive problems, such as diarrhea or constipation

- Food intolerances

- Neurodermatitis - Asthma - Headaches - Metabolic diseases such as diabetes, obesity in children: restlessness, developmental delay, learning difficulties, chronic gastrointestinal complaints

Causes and Background The effects of the microbiome are as far-reaching as the causes and backgrounds can be diverse. Some risk and lifestyle factors appear to generally damage/weaken the individual intestinal flora: - Caesarean sections - (repeated) use of antibiotics - diet; lack of nutrients and vital substances, fiber, vitamins - excess of highly processed foods, fast food, sugar, salt, bad fats, etc.) Diagnostics: To support relief from symptoms or prevent long-term damage, I recommend comprehensive laboratory diagnostics. This can provide information about the ratios of "good" and "bad" microbes, allowing for more targeted and individualized treatment approaches. I would be happy to advise you on taking pre-/probiotics or create a customized treatment plan to build a healthy gut.

Healing practice for children

Support, empathy and a holistic approach with root cause research In my experience with my own three children, I have learned how powerful naturopathy can be and how wonderfully and sustainably supporting the immune system strengthens children. I see myself as a companion on a developmental path that is unique for each child. I pay particular attention to intestinal health, for example in conditions such as neurodermatitis, asthma, hay fever or allergies. For this, I also use modern laboratory diagnostics. This interaction also allows me to support children in their development or developmental delays or other special circumstances.

Further:

Support during pregnancy, newborns and toddlers with complaints such as colds, stomach aches, anxiety, sleep problems or other ongoing and recurring illnesses.

The goal of treatment is to alleviate acute symptoms and activate the body's self-healing powers. Children, in particular, often respond well to naturopathic treatment, as their bodies are largely unburdened by harmful environmental influences, chronic illnesses, and allopathic medications. Often, small stimuli are enough to activate the body's self-healing powers.

Stress, burnout and depression

Sensitive support and laboratory-supported cause research for your personal quality of life

Long-term emotional or physical stress often has a negative impact on our health.

Stress can arise from excessive demands, for example, from external demands that are very high and feel like they're growing. Or from my own demands, which can be very high. How do I deal with this?

How can I deal with fears in order to move through life with strength?

Unresolved conflicts in various areas of life, such as work, relationships, family, or childhood experiences, can trigger stress, exhaustion, disorientation, demotivation, and uncertainty about the future. Sometimes it's not easy to figure out on your own what I'm feeling, how I'm doing, and what I really need to feel good.

The exploration of various life issues, such as non-violent communication, and the clarification of possible metabolic deficiencies through laboratory diagnostics, go hand in hand in my work.

The goal is to broaden your own perception, to work out your own personal strengths, to regain your confidence and thus to regain your own power through good self-care.

With me you will receive personal support and individual information, as well as instructions on how to reduce stress, anxiety and find your own good balance again.

Stay healthy & feel good, do something good for yourself and stay in balance

Do you know what you're lacking and what's good for you? Would you like support from a naturopathic practitioner? Do you have questions about a specific topic or would you like to focus on a specific issue (strengthening organs, detoxification, acne, hair loss, migraines, exhaustion, pregnancy, nutrition)?

Are you looking for ways to manage stress, such as supporting your metabolism?

Naturopathy offers a wide variety of approaches, but a central one is to view the body as a whole. Connecting body and mind, creating your personal balance, and working together (preventively) on your health—that is my personal goal.
